In this FREE computer basics class, learn:

• Computer hardware and software 
• Computer terminology 
• How to troubleshoot computer problems 
• How to perform a proper shutdown
• Use the mouse and become familiar with the keyboard while performing basic computer tasks in a Windows environment, including a brief Google search. 

What to Bring 

• Flash drive 
• Your valid Carrollton Public Library card or ID for a Guest Pass 
• Information about getting a Library Card 
• Pay any outstanding fines to an amount less than $10 BEFORE the class to make sure you can participate. 

This program is for ADULTS:

• This class is NOT suitable for children 
• Make arrangements for children to be supervised by someone other than library staff, outside of the classroom 

Day of Class 

• Class starts promptly at the designated time 
• Registrants' seats are ONLY held for 10 minutes after the class start time 
• If you do not have a Library card, talk with staff BEFORE class start time about getting a card or Guest Pass.
